If you are an apprentice at some technical department or a worker who is trying to cut and mold metal sheets all you require is to have proper copper working tools to design and develop a metal sheet. There are few things that you need to keep in mind to use the working tools.

1. Thickness

When the we are trying to choose the tools the most important thing is to decide the thickness. Like any other metal the wires are also measured with the help of available measuring gauges. This higher number indicates the thinnest sheet. For difference in metal like ferrous and non ferrous sheets all we need to have different gauges to measure different kinds of thickness.

     2. Bending

Choosing the right bending material tool is essential. Those who are regularly using these tools normally possess a sheet metal bending brakes. Those who are professional workers or workshop owners can’t do much without it. But for those who are just DIY kind of people who likes to explore it with their tools it’s a bit expensive option to choose from. However, there are some other metal tools that could be easily accessible and pocket friendly as well. 

You can use a clamps and an old working bench to do the task of bending brakes. Few adjustments here and there could help you to work without it as well.
 
   3. Cutting

When you are working with metal you have to use variety of cutting tools, to be able to design and develop a new model made from metal sheet. However, the kind of copper working, cutting tool required for your job there is vast variety of tools available in the market. 

• Snips: this cutting tool is also known as aviation snip or tin snips. They are used for the purpose of cutting small tin sheets. The cuts in the snips are determined by the color of the handle. You need to properly insert the snip into the metal to ensure a proper required cut.
  
• A hacksaw: its mostly used for cutting sheet metal but the shape however is restricted as you can only aim at cutting straighter in to the metal. For angular and other shapes you are not able to use hacksaw. If you want to keep your hacksaws life prolonged then you may rub a wax or apply sheet on to the edges to keep it safe.
  
• Nibbler: a nibbler is specially designed tool to punch a metal piece out of the sheet. It can create a wide cut depending upon its use. There are manually hand operated nibblers, battery operated, and a machine operated ones as well.
