Blood Hound Bound: Things Dogs Have in Common with Humans

They say that dogs are a man’s best friend and will go through Hell to make sure their owner feels safe and protected. There’s a reason why they say this. If you think about it, dogs are very similar to people and that’s why they’re one of the only animals who get along with human beings.
Their perseverance, loyalty, and unconditional love makes them the parfect pets. But what exactly do they have in common with human beings? Let’s take a look.
They’re Social Beings
Of course, this doesn’t apply to every dog, just like how some people are introverted. But most dogs love socializing and going for walks as well so they can meet other dogs on their way.
They love spending time with their owners and loved ones. They love cuddling and providing their owner with companionship.
They’re Opportunists!
If they see an opportunity to hog the furniture, there’s nothing you can do about it! How many times has your furry friend jumped onto the couch during Game Time just to cuddle up with you? Or how many times have they hogged the bed at night, giving you only a tiny space to sleep?
But think about how many times we’ve done the same with our significant others or with our loved ones. Doggies are opportunists just like us in this matter.
Bred to be Fed
Doggies are bred for bread. Jokes aside, dogs love food and they love being given treats. One of their favorite things is to lay outside in the sun after getting a good snack. There are plenty of videos on the internet where dog owners are seen jokingly complaining about how their doggies  just had a snack and wants another one.
Now, who doesn’t love food? There are plenty of people who can relate. There’s a reason why they say “Nothing brings people together like good food.”
These are some of the ways people and dogs are similar in nature and personality. Got something to add to the list? Drop us a comment below.
